Happy Birthday Gorgeous!

I'm upside down at the moment as I have just had my first order from the new catalogue arrive and just sit staring at it wondering what to use first. Can't wait to play with the Stamparatus but need to get everything put away first. (have my next order ready and waiting to go on the 1st of next month) and can't wait for that one to arrive either) Do you know the feeling "Great" isn't it.

This is a card I created for my Aunt's birthday and I must say she is gorgeous and only a few months older than me so we are more like friends than Aunt and Niece.

I used a lot of retired items but there are very good alternatives in the new Catalogue.

It was quite easy to put together and you only have two things to stamp and that is the Happy Birthday and the Marble background. The rest is either matting or die cutting.

I just loved the colours for this card and hope my Aunt likes it.

The materials used are:
® = retired, (sab) = Sale-A-Bration (nsu) = not stampin’ up

Card stock: Berry Burst, Blushing Bride, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White
Ink: Berry Burst
DSP: Perfectly Artistic ® (Marbled stamp would be a good substitute)
Stamp sets: Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Embossing folders: Fancy Fan ® (Quilt Top would be a good substitute)
Embossing powders: Clear
Thinlits: Flourish
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Organza Ribbon ®

The size of the card is: Imperial 5" x 7", Metric 17.6 x 12.6

Well, now to get to grips with sorting out the craft room, moving whats no longer in and arranging all my lovely new goodies!!! Oh what fun but sad to see a lot go as well. Maybe start selling off some of my old stash, not sure yet.

Will be back again soon with more cards

Two for the price of one!!

Not one but two cards today, same style but look quite different.

I am very far behind in showing some of my cards at the moment consequently most of the contents of these two cards are no longer available to buy, but if you would like some stamped images in a colour of your choosing sent to you, contact me and I can arrange for them to be sent to you.

To create each card was quite simple!

One piece of DSP and one piece of cardstock embossed with the Simple Stripes embossing folder, each the same size and then cut about a third of the way down and joined together by the ribbon.

The truly tailored stamped image was punched out and then trimmed down slightly with a second tailored tag punched in Night of Navy and layered up with stampin' dimensionals.

A few candy dots and hey presto! two cards for the price of one.

The materials used are:
® = retired, (sab) = Sale-A-Bration (nsu) = not stampin’ up
Card stock: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla
Ink: might of Navy
DSP: True Gentlemen
Stamp sets: Number of Years, Truly Tailored
Embossing folders: Simple Stripes
Thinlits: Hello You ®
Punches: Tailored Tag
Accessories: Candy dots ®, Satin ribbon ®
Will be back again soon with more cards

Beautiful Bouquet Birthday

It's Here

The longed for 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue

And there's so much to choose from, so if you don't have yours yet go make yourself a cuppa, come back, relax and click on the link opposite.

Then Enjoy!!!

I picked a card made with products mostly from the old catalogue which have carried over into the new one (yeah!!). The only thing no longer available is the Epoxy Shapes, but there are plenty of alternatives. The relationship sentiment isn't a Stampin' Up! product.

I like clean and simple cards as a rule so when I saw a variation of this on Pinterest I took a mental note and this is what I came up with.

The materials used are:
® = retired, (sab) = Sale-A-Bration (nsu) = not stampin’ up

Card stock: Tranquil Tide, Whisper White
Ink: Tranquil Tide
Stamp sets: Beautiful Bouquet
Embossing folders: Softly Falling
Framelits: Bouquet Bunch, Stitched Shapes
Accessories: Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes

Will be back again soon with more cards
